Hello!
When working with the resource planning window would be very useful 2 functions that are missing now:
1) when minimizing the resource would like to see for clarity is not the full range of its tasks, and distributed by day tasks as implemented in MS Project (see image). This will greatly simplify the task of determining the free days of the resources for assigning tasks to them.
2) the resource planning window displays only the resources of the current project, but very often you want to see the distribution of tasks of a group of users belonging to different projects. Could you implement the functionality of mapping the distribution to an arbitrary group of resources, again as implemented in MS Project (see image).
1) Request recorded as Ticket #3493
2) It is the use of Team !
1) Thank you, we expect implementation
2) Using commands is not very convenient, because our resources are multifunctional and can be in different teams. And in each case, a selection of resources must be selected for the analysis of the load individually .
More easy : use Pools.
Allocate resources to pools (you can allocate resources to sa many pools as you wish)
When displaying resource planning for a pool, you'll see all the resources of the pool.
I think it's more convinient than seleceing several resources, that you must re-select each time you need global pool view.
For us, this option is not very suitable: to form a selection of users for resource pools every time to actually view their workload once or twice for each new project will be inconvenient. It would be much more convenient to checkboxes in the list of resources.
Well, I can implement a special application for this purpose based on the information from the database, but could you tell in general terms how I can embed the start button of the application in the interface of the planning window?
p.s. Sorry for my English
