In a large team and large skill-matrix, the PM cannot remember who has which skills.
Here, the PM tool can help by identifying any resource with the required skill.
This is a simple matter of entering skills and qualifications for each resource.
At the time of allocation to projects and assignment to tasks, the PM can query to find matching resources.
In a more sophisticated version, ProjeQtor can itself pick a matching resource.
Once the task is assigned, the resource should be tracked by name, and not treated either as Fake resource (to be replaced with actual resource), or a Team resource (FTE>1).
This method will also help the PM to finish the project in minimum time.
