dates for planning are usefull (initial, validated, planned), but keeping tracks on it will be quite a heavy job if you're using planning calculation...

First planning give initial dates, but you need to copy it from planned to initial to keep track.

Modifications of planning give new validated dates (negociated with you client, for exemple), then, you need to change it. If your planning will change after that (it is normal because activities are linked), you need to copy new planned dates to validated dates again...

Is it possible to add a VALID PLANNING button to planning screen, which do the following for each activities / milestones :
- if initial date is empty, copy planned date to initial date
- copy planned date to validated date

So, if you modify your planning by calculating it, you can get agreement from your client on the planning and, simply, keep trace of your new validated planning.
