hello,
I'm using for other apps the SMTP from laposte.net which require a secure connection.
could it be possible to add a protocol list to specify the security needed by a SMTP server ?

you cant specify the protocole in the host name :
ssl://hostname for ssl
tls://hostname for tls
In V5.3, you'll also have
smtp://hostname to force non encrypted connection
because in V5.2, if you don't specify a protocole and enter smtp account (usr/password) ssl is used systematically.
