Depending of our activities, technical assistance for customer or project (I mean flat-rate project), it will be most flexible to select the type of Unit of Works per projet (Technical assistance or fat-rate project versus global parameters.
Eg :
For technical assistance we need unit for real work allocation per day, but for flat-rate project we need unit for real work allocation per hour (several task in the same day).

And how would you enter real work allocation for resource working on both types of projects ?

The ressources are only assigned to one type of project on same period.

Sorry my later reply.
May be I don't understand your real problem.
In the following screen shot I have two projects.
Project 1 should be project with real work allocation in day (It is not the case in my print screen)
Project 2 should be project with real work allocation in hour.
If the ressource field real time allocation on same day (the 7 march) , with 1 day for task « Maj des AFS » (That means 7.4 h hours) and the same day in project 2 the task « Analyse », you should convert the day in hour for project 1 and add for the same day the value filled in project 2.
If the value is greater than 7.4 h, you will activate the warning and red color in the cell of bottom tab.

I'm sorry but your request is very specific and won't be included in community version : too much work, for small improvement, with possibly a real mess in input of work for resource.
