[#7532]

Hello,
we have many deliverables, among many projects.
the automatic planning calculation is on (running at 4AM and starting 10 days ago, I changed it Thursday or Friday, it previously was «from the beginnig of the week»).

This morning, almost all of our deliverables are in the same state (quality of the deliverable). In the history of each item, the change has been made by no user (as it is always displayed when the automatic planning calculation does something). It seems that all the deliverables that are linked to a milestone have been spuriously updated (deliverables not related to any milestone kept their «quality of the deliverable» unchanged).

With the same approach, I already had problems while updating the responsible of a deliverable : the value I selected was applied to all of the deliverables of the project. This problem disappeared in v9.0.6 but something seems quite unstable in this area.

Many thanks for your help,

Hello,

Your ProjeQtOr version is still V9.0.6 ?
if so, try upgrading to V9.1.3, and tell us if that fixes the problem.

Hello, I upgraded to 9.1.3 this week-end.
I check this week if the problem still exists.

Well, it is more than strange ...

If I calculate the planning for all the projects (even manually), the bug occurs.
I tried with a single given project ... and the behavior is correct.

I mean, in other words for this project :
- if I calculate it alone, the "quality" of its deliverables are not impacted
- if I calculate all the projects, the "quality" of its deliverables are impacted

I feel like if one of my projects were messing it all, but how ? Is the SQL request secured ?

I am investigating: it seems the problem started after we created a delivery object. Could it be related ?

The problem is currently quite easy to reproduce: where could I add some trace to understand what happens ? (and obviously send you the logs if it can help)

Hello,
I work with fsouliers and I'm affected by this issue.
I was able to reproduce a similar behavior on demo.

  • I've used the project #377 to create two deliverables (#20 and #21). Both are linked to milestone #104.
  • I've created the delivery #10 and linked it to the two previous deliverables
  • Whenever I change the quality status of delivery, the quality status of the two linked deliverables changes together, which is OK.
  • But looking at deliverable #18, which seems completely independant (in another project, linked to another milestone and not linked with delivery), its quality status also changes together with the delivery.
  • The same goes if I set the quality status of deliverable #18 back to its original value and start a planning calculation : the deliverable quality status keeps updating with the delivery status
