Hello,
with an activity set "fixed duration", charge set and no assignation, i can't change avacement value in planning view.
It work fine in activity view.
Let show screen capture :
From planning, avancement is locked
From activity, it's fine :

The same way, being able to modify the avancement value directly in the right part of gantt (like description,...) will be usefull :
