Workflow must allow the transition from current status to in progress.
 

Hi, Workflow still allow transition but this does not work

we are in 10.3.1

Still the same problem in 12.3.2

Projet, activity (phase) and activity (task) workflows allow transition from assigned to in progress.

When task is changed to in progress, phase and project dont change and stay in status assigned

Any help will be great

First, global parameter must be enabled

Then, you need to understand that this feature does not change at each status change.
If changes only when "macro" status changes.
So when you move sub-activity to "In Progress", it checks the "handled" macro status.
But if "assigned" is already a "handled" status, status of parent does not move.

Macro statuses are the checkbox that indicate the global status of an item : in progress (handled), done, closed (idle)
