I use the french free.fr provider and I'm stuck with a write problem on parameter web page :
"incorrect value for 'Log file name', cannot write to such a file" and same for Parameters.php file !:(
Write access "chmod" = 700 value.
Do you have an idea ?

Set at least rights to 755 : the user who lauches the php server is not the one you use to manage your files.
aie. My provider fix chmod to 700 for folders and 644 for files. I don't have capacity to modify chmod.

Just connect with a FTP Client (filezilla for instance).
For free :
Host = ftpperso.free.fr
Ident = you account
password = your account password
On remote host directory (on right part in filezilla), select your folder, right click, select "access rights" and change as you wish.
My first instance of Project'Or RIA, when it was first call Project'Or, was running at free.fr 😉
