Hi, I have installed many CMS or other PHP software via FTP and MySQL on an Aruba shared instance, and I've never experienced this kind of issue.I'm trying to install version 12.4.2, but on the configuration page, when I fill out the form with the correct server/database details (checked and re-checked), the system keeps showing an error message: "SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1044 Access denied for user".What I noticed is that in the error box the name of the database is forced to lowercase, while in my case the first letter is capitalized, I don't have the privilege to change those names. See attached screenshots.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello,
I don't think this is a problem caused by the database name casing (the error would probably be “Unknown database”) but your installation issue is caused by database access privileges,
HAve a nice day,
