have not done any thing more than copying the extractearchive within the folder "projeqtor" on my distant server. Before, all old folders have been deleted.
Perhaps server I use can not support this application ? :side:

Just pay attention that old versions of ProjeQtOr deploy a directory call "projectorria' (old name).
Maybe you have to rename it or go to http://yourserver/projectorria

Also notice that my fist advice is not the best (sorry, my mistake), as you'd better user last patch of each release, so you should incrementally install :
V1.0.1
V2.0.0 (no patch)
V3.0.2
V4.0.6
V4.5.6

Despite the application of the way you cited, I have always error messages.

I have deleted all old tables, created the projectorria folder, placed the archive content in the folder and then tried to log as admin :
ERROR *
parameter file not found at 'C:projectorriaparameters.php'
Check file '/tool/parametersLocation.php' or remove it to use '/tool/parameters.php'.

If problem persists, you may get some help at the forum at projectOr web site .

Then, have deleted the parametersLocation.php file.

I think there is a problem with the configurationat 1and1 ?
I am able to install Dolibarr ERP/CRM and to maintain it, to add modules. Then, don't understand why Projeqtor doesn't work...

What it isnot understable too, is the fact that when the first page with localhost, database user and so on, a password is set for initialization. This password does not work. Why ?

The error messages such as that indicated in this message is not clear. When deleting the parametersLocation.php file, it should work. It is not the case...

So, I have no other solution to stop trying Projeqtor. I amCEO of a company and can not loose time with such programms which are not so to install.

A pitty you did not succed in installing ProjeQtOr, as it usually installs seamlesly.

I don't think 1&1 uses windows servers, but rather Linux.

Is it what you entered in the configuration screen ?
Advise : on first attenpt, it would be better to define is as

../files/config/parameters.php

(default value)

As I don't like to stay on a failire, I tried on my onw to install V1.0.1, and it appears that default settings are only good for Windows servers "C:...")? 🙁
They whould have been change to linux format...

But alos, I've read again all the tread, and re-read your first log files.
It appears installation went almoth to the end of V4.5.6, but you just got a prefix case issue.
Then, you might have face a bug I discovered yesterday on V4.5.6 for fresh installs. 😳
New patch V4.5.7 has just been deployed, and I guess you'll be abled to install PrjeQtOr directly to V4.5.7 with this patch (with lowercase prefix)
