If server has no internet connection to access outside resources, disable curl php module
or set parameter "getVersion" to "NO" (either change value in table parameter or enter new value in parameters.pgp ($getVersion='NO';)

Unfortunately this doesn't help...

Like php.ini --> allow_url_fopen=off the change of "getVersion" to No in the table parmameter just made the errormessage in the news section disapear.

But the left Menu didn't appear.
It is still hidden empty below "Menu search" and it doesn't matter what i click on the left side or if i show/hide the menu.
The links to the favorites are still working, but there i have also no access to the fault log, because i didn't put the administration in my favorites...

Any error in log file ?
Or in browser console ?

Strange behaviour...

I loaded the snapshot with V9.3.1 before the upgrade to V9.3.2 again and discovered that when i logged in (Username replaced with BlaAdmin), that the menu left was already vanished before the upgrade...
The last entry in the log ( 2021-10-15) was when i tested to the gantt issues with the "special user" (see my other post in the forum, userneame in the Log changed to Bla_guest) and then i didn't login again...

So today (2021-10-22) i logged in with the Adminaccount (BlaAdmin) and menu left did not show the content.
I Logged out, and logged in with the user (Bla_guest), this showed the menu, I logged out again, then logged in with the Admin (BlaAdmin) and the menu left was shown again.

After that i loaded an older snapshot with V9.2.2 and directly updgrade to V9.3.2 which was ok (so it has nothing to do with the upgrade process....)

The "recovery process" worked also with the snapshot of V9.3.2 which didn't show the menu left content.

Cookie problem ?!
After i tested this with Firefox i couldn't reproduce it after a certain time (in the beginning i could load different versions and simulate with different versions etc. ) but now when i go back it doesn't appear again.
But with the Edge browser where I had the same issue and did not play and login logout, i still have it (at the same time with Firefox i don't).

This can be a cache issue.
After upgrade, make sure to clean your browser cache.
When you change user, also be sure to have a clean disconnection (use disconnect button, not F5)

Unfortunately I was a little bit too fast by closing this topic. After the last time I realized that the problem disapered after clearing the cache. Later I found out that this method was only working in the Firefox but not for Chrome/Edge (which is in the meantime also listed as chrome in the audits).

I discovered that project selector also didn't work if it standard (reflecting WBS) is selected, as well as the left menu bar. (including the lower part, which shows parameters, shortcuts, etc).

The result was, after "cron" was started again the page could be loaded correctly..

I simulated the whole setting up again and could circle when it happens and how to solve (here is the fastest way to simulate)

• Menu left disapears
• Project selector in "standard (reflecting WBS structure) doesn't work anymore
• Bell Symbol on top next to "Cron" icon apears with 0 and no notification showed

This happend already on V9.2.2 which was working without any problem until i did the first 4 steps also with  Parameter "getVersion" to YES

Before the rights of guest have been reduced to "Reader" the message shown is as expected, but everything worked.
