I'm using IE8 and Firefox 10.
With IE8 (official browser in the office), making a change in activities, leads to freeze activity screen. It was impossible to select another activity, you must quit IE8, flush the cache and reconnect.

I have the same issue with IE 8 on my projectorria version and reproduced it on projectorria demo.
When I perform an create or update or delete action, I can't do anything else, I need to disconnect and reconnect, there seems to be a javascript issue. this is what I get :

Registered as ticket #575...
and fixed.
I had to unactivate row selection after update on IE8 (it's an IE8 specific bug).
So, on IE8, after update, no row will be selected in the list grid (same behavior as prior to V1.9).

With the new release, I am still having the same issue, when I perform a create / update or delete action, I am still having IE8 issue.
My environment is last zend server CE version (5.6.0) with hotfix 1 and 2.
I am still getting the following message on IE8 :

To use IMG tag, you must previously store the image on the web.
