we use the "quick search" a lot and also the "status filter bar". The both work as expected if used alone. But if i use both at the same time only the quick search is taken into account. Is that's how it's meant to be?

We do not reproduce this problem. Do you have error messages in the ProjeQtOr logs or in your browser console?

i did the screenshot in your "Track Database" on the projeqtor-website and can reproduce it in this moment as described below:
- log in as guest and select tickets-view
- reset all filters
- select re-opend in the "status quickfilter" (4 results)
- additional search for "Error" in the quick search (734 Results, but statusfilter aktive too)
my bad, I bugged the quick search... and did the tests on tags and status. 
So to answer your question "Is this how it should happen?"yes this is how it should happen. The quick search is an independent filter. It does not take into account any other filter, except the project selector. It will even display closed results even if the switch box is not activated.
An evolution will be made to hide the other filters when using the quick search.
