Hi,
When printing a planning in the "Planning" screen, rows are shifted.
The first main reason is that the column "Resources" is on multiple lines because "Resources" column is fixed and not auto, even if the "Resources" does not fit in the screen.
The second reason is that lines in the Gantt (on the right side) are 20px high when lines on the left are 21px high.
Solution :
- Remove width: XXXpx; on Resources column
- Fix the height to 20px or 21px on both sides
This is not perfect, there is still a little shift but the planning becomes readable.
Thank you,
All fields can be truncated if they are longer than the defined width so actually, it would be better to have columns with no specified width so columns have the best width available.
Which "Print Method" are you using ?
As explained on post : http://www.projeqtor.org/en/forum/2-submit-issues/7881-v6-0-1-acceptance-review-impossible-to-export-pdf-planning
there are several ways to print a Gantt Plannig, so please tells us which case is involved.
NB : the difference of line height is normal and leads on correct display (not print possibly) on all browsers. It is because some extra border on one side requires smaller line height to be correct.
I'm using the "Print" button, it is the 3rd button in the Follow up -> Planning screen.
It lets me choose my columns to print and the printing format (A3).
OK, I get it.
Ticket #2461 recorded.
I'm not sure it comes from resource as it's working quite good on V5.5.
I gett is is due to icons formatting that has changed on V6.0
Cannot define as automatic : it would be a mess with PDF export.
But you can change width of each column through the column selector.
I didn't see this, thank you!
