I cant link a requirement to a test case from either direction.
The listbox for the linked type doesnt contain requirement when trying to link from test case
nor test case when trying to link from requirement.

Normal.
On requirement, you have "Test cases list", which is link to test cases, and only test cases.
On test cases, you have "Requirements list" , which is links to requirementss, and only requirements.

Oh yes, thanks. I forgot that and the manual refers to the link section..
