When I create a quotation there is a mandatory field : Project
But at time of quotation we still do not have a project and in case the quotation is not accepted ther will not be a project.
(At the contrary it is OK with a mandatiry field Customer)

ProjeQtOr is not an ERP, it is a project management tool.
So basic design is that all items have to be linked to a project...
This is required as access rights are defined at project level.
You just have to define a "fake" temporary project where you'll store quotations that are not part of a project yet.
