This is a known issue with MySql V8.0.20.
Use another version or switch to MariaDB or PostgreSql.

In MySql V8.0.20, "DESC table" does not return any size for INT, even if you create table colomn as INT(size).
In fact, it is technically right, as int don't really have a size like decimals, but up to V8.0.18, it worked properly.
We define reference fields (keys) as int(12) and when we have this format, we know we will have a dropbox.
As mySql V8.0.20 just returns "int" without size, fralework is broken and cannot provide a dropbox.
