Hello, and happy new year !
While we don't use automatic calculation for planning, activity screen as been modified to set planning mode to value 8 (for "fixed duration") and read-only for all profiles.
It works fine and all activities was in fixed duration.
Now, we want to experiment planning calculation. Then i remove read-only flags for profiles on activity-progress screen (and also remove default value) but it is no longer possible to change activity planning mode, even in existing or new activities (list is not enable and value remain set to "fixed duration").
regards,
Flushing cache doesn't help...
Are you sure that you connect with user having the correct profile ?
Pay attention that your user may have a specific profile from allocation to project, and possibly from inheritic profile from allocation to parent project (recusively).
To be sure, you way temporrily unlock the field for all profiles.
Hello,
I use administrator profile for testing so i don't thinks it's a permission problem...
NB : you cannot change planning mode for Parent activities (activity that has sub-activities)
Possibly you are in that case, even if sub-activities are not visible (closed)
Also it may be an unconsistency : try and add sub-activity and then remove it to for refresh of flag "elementary" (that should be 1 to allow change planning mode)
Hello,
i'm trying to change relation by making test activity (newly created and can't change planning mode) as sub activity then remove the link and doesn't work.
Is it possible that customing screen while cause such a behavior ?
Is it possible that customing screen while cause such a behavior ?
Yes, for instance if planningmode is set as readonly (globally, or for a type or for a profile)
First check in the DB if your activity is correctly set as "elementary" = 1 (in planningelement table)
