Welcome to ProjeQtOr new Forum. We migrated old forum to the new website.
You will find all your posts here, with your usual account.
Just one point : you’ll have to reinitialize your password. Use “Lost password” feature.
When opening Project'Or the Use Standard Mode / Use Switched Mode button is displaying the translated text in Spanish correctly, but after the first toggle it switches to the text in English and never goes back to Spanish.
Did you try and refresh your browser cache ?
Yes I did, I cleared all browser's temp files and cache. I did a new test installation with v3.4.1 directly and it happens the same thing.
I solved the problem ... Thanks !
How did you solve ?
I modified the spanish translation file since there are some mistakes and also I needed to change some of the existing labels to reflect a better description of the options and/or fields.
I have a file of my own in which I register the changes and after each update I just copy the contents at the end of the translation file but it seems the last 2 lines of the original translation file need to be kept as the last ones, so I just moved my personal translations 2 lines up and problem solved.
Hi,
The best way to manage translations is to use the lang.xls file : it contains a macro to automatically generate lang.js files, and is much easier to manage than lang.js file.
You can get it on the download page.
If you have some fixing, please send them to me, I'll integrate your fixing in next version.
Managing a separate text file with only my changes is working fine and easy. As I told you I just copy the contents to the new language file (before the 2 lasta lines) and it does the job.
About the changes, there are 5 entries with mistakes:
sectionDetail: should read like "Detalle de Gastos"
sectionDescription: should read like "Detalles"
paramBillNumSize: should read "Dígitos Número Factura",
paramBillNumStart: should read "Número de Factura Inicial",
helpPdfInNewWindow: (this one I haven´t found where you use it so I haven't corrected it, but the translation is definitely wrong)
The titles of the elements in the Today screen also are somehow confusing and really don´t describe what each section contains. I changed their descrptions to the following which are more descriptive:
todayAssignedTasks: "Trabajo Asignado"
todayResponsibleTasks: "Elementos Responsable"
todayIssuerRequestorTasks: "Elementos Creados"
I have also some other 30 changes that are just "nice to have" for me, not that they are wrong or unclear so those I think are not necessary.
Hi,
Your improvements in the translation have been taken into account for next version.
Thanks for your contribution.
Glad to help ! I found some other errors:
paramBillPrefix: should read "Prefijo",
paramBillSuffix: should read "Sufijo",
elementHistoty: should read "Registro de Cambios",
Your fixing are taken into account.
Thanks.
Hi ccattani, Babynus,
wouldn't it be an idea to provide translation file (lang.xls) for ccattani as well?
Regards,
