Hello,
I face a problem on v12.5.1 (same on 12.2.3).
The multi-currency function doesn't work for amount or cost custom fields added through the screen customisation tool v8.1 (same with v7.3). The global default currency is CHF and I assigned a specific currency (€) to the project and here is the status:
