we think about using ProjeQtOr for recurring maintenance tasks but I don't know, what's the best way to do that (if it's possible). These tasks have to be done recurring every x months or even years (such as changing filter of coffee machine 
). We would like to have a reminder by email when time is near, an activity (or ticket or so) to describe what has to be done and automatic renewal of timer or (re)creation of follow up activity with new timer when maintenance task is done.
What's the best way to do that using ProjeQtOr?

Best is to define 1 task with planning mode "Regular between dates" (or other similar).
You plan work for resources that will work.
Then each maintenance task is managed as a Ticket with "planning activity" set to this activity. Then, work entered on the ticket is consolidated on the activity.
