[#6902]

I have an issue with Dispatch/Start Work buttons on tickets for Project Manager role. Admin sees them and can dispatch work on tickets but I would like users with limited rights to do the same.

So I have ticket number XXX and Admin sees Dispatch/Start Work buttons and Project Manager does not.
Can you please help me identify which Settings are responsible for hidding Dispatch/Start Work buttons on tickets?

It is self hosted v8.5.3, has worked fine for the last several years but I have cut priviliges for users and buttons are gone...

Hi,
Dispatch is not displayed if user does not have write right on "real work" field (as dispatch will change real work)
Dispatch and Start are not displayed if ticket is in readonly mode (closed or user don't have write rights).

Hi Babynus,

Many thanks for the hint. However I cannot locate where to set write right on "real work" field...

My test user is a Project Manager with a ticket "in progress". This user is set as "responsible" for this ticket

For Project Manager:
Access to forms: all is checked in WORK and FOLLOW-UP
Access to data (project dependant) : Manager+ set in 1st section and WORK

Still admin can see dispatch and PM cannot...

Robert

Have a look at "specific access"

Babynus, you are my hero!!!!!! I will suport your project financially. Many thanks again.

Frontend is oldschool but backend is a state-of-the-art. Keep on rolling!

Hi Robb,

Thanks for your comments and your support proposale.

Frontend is oldschool but backend

We know about it.
We're planning changes on this side for the end of the year, if God and Coronavis let us do it 😉
