We are going to upgrade the OS (Debian 9.11 - 10.1.41-MariaDB-0+deb9u1 - php 5.6.30 - Ram : 4 Go --> Debian 11) of the server that hosts our Projeqtor instance (9.3.0). Our users complain about the slowness of some operations (operation recording in particular).
What are your recommendations to improve things?
- php version ? 7.4, 8 or 8.1?
- mariaDB version?
- Ram?
- Version of projeqtor?
- Other tuning ?

=> 8.0 max for projeqtor V9.3, as compatibility with PHP 8.1 come only with projeqtor V9.5

Any.
Ram?
Will mainly depend on number of users and size of DB.
4GB is a minimum
Version of projeqtor?
The latest stable always advises (currently V9.5.5)
Plan to migrate to V10.0 as soon as it is tagged stable : it bring major performance improvments.
