I am trying to install project on my server. I have apache2, mysql and php installed. I am able to get to the configuration screen but when I hit ok I do not get moved to the next screen. I do see the wheel though but after that I just stay on the same screen. I tried to debug it using firebug as was suggested in another thread. The firbug gave me this error:
Unable to load /tool/configCheck.php?
I thought it might have been a permissions issue but I am able to server other pages without a problem (the main.php came up without a problem so I am not sure if permissions is the issue)
Any help will be appreciated and thank you ahead of time.

On configuation screen, do you always see the week or does it dissepear ?
If so, you must have a message and a new button on bottom of sreen (maybe you have to scroll down).
If spinner never stops :
Check write access to the "log" directory.
Try and set debuglevel to 0 (no log).
Check if you get any apache error.
Also check database access.

DebugLevel can be set in the parameters in the configuration screen.
When pressing "OK", first thing done is database access.
If access is wrong, an explcit messageis displayed.
