What do you mean by "nothing" ?

Looks like I've got the same issue. Under one user it shows all the messages in different colors. And all the projects for that user.

But when I log in under a different user the Today page was completely empty. And the user said he had never seen anything on that page, it was always empty.

So I asked him to click on Parameters and all the "Items to be displayed" were checked - however nothing displayed on the page. Then we've unchecked everything and clicked OK. Then checked it back and clicked OK - and the page started showing all the sections - Projects, Tasks assigned to, Tasks responsible of, Items to be displayed. So looks like we've triggered a reset somehow, unchecked and checked back all those sections.

However, there is no check box for messages. There is still that Messages section, but no messages in it.

Is there any way to remove and add that section back to see if it will fix it?

Once again, everything is fine under a different user, so it looks like it is somehow related to a particular user settings/data.

Regarding messages. I found out that when you create a message it sets the user(drop down) to the current user. I guess that means that only that user can see the message. Therefore every time I create a message I have to unselect the user to make sure other users can see that message. Some sort of a workaround.

I had the same issue but it was solved changing the Today parameters (top right corner of the Today screen) and setting the DUE DATE for the next 15 days or so.

In fact, just opening the today parameters pop-up solves the issue...

But it will be definitively fixed in V3.4
