Hi, so it just started today, whenever I create a task and assign it, the email notification goes to a couple of persons in my team even though I just assigned it to one person. I have no idea where this is coming from.
The moment I press save email goes to all of them as you can see in the picture.

Please check you configuration for automatic email sending on screen "Mail on event"
This is what i have. The things is that it selectively sent emails to those persons,even though we are not in a team project together
Email is send to "Project Team", so it is normal that "all resources allocated to the project" receive the email
Correct me if i am wrong. It should be the case only if we are on the same projet together, no ?
Plus, it does not matter what the subject is about, they will still receive the email

Just look for project of "Villet #20".
When you look at the project, you'll see allocated resources : theyu will all receive the email.

Hi, so upon running some tests and deactivating Mail on Event for Project Team , people affected as ressources still receive emails. Is this the normal behavior or can i set it to only send to the issuer and requester ?

No, youre configuration should send only to requestor, issuer and responsible, not to whole team.
Pay attention that this is only for new created items (status "recorded")
Check other statuses and other events.
