I have a problem with the automatic calculation of the rate of progress.
in my schedule I have:
1.a project
2.two project activities
3.resources
by making the allocation of resources to the activity and by assigning the working days the progress is not done automatically on the rate of progress of the project.

Progress on activities is not calculated from progress on Project, this has no sense : how do you determine progress of a project, moreover of a big project.
Process is revese : you define assigned work on activities, then resource enter real work on Timesheet. This will calculate progress on activiities, and will be consolidated on parents up to top project.
I'm having trouble entering the actual working time into a resource's account if you can be a little clearer please
Go to screen "Timesheet", select the resource (if you enter for the resource) and enter time spent...
