Hi,
I need to have users with different roles on different projects.
I read the different comments you wrote on this subject : we are supposed to create the user with higher role he will have (ex: Project leader) and then limit roles on some projects (ex : team member).
it work fine on projects that are not linked.
But I also wanted to create a kind of hierachy to organise projects. I notice that for all sub-project, user as the role he has on top project? He can see all sub-projects, even those on which he is not affected on. Is it expected behaviour?
If yes, I will have to forget my hierarchical organisation.
Thanks

Yes it is expected behavious : rights are inherited to sub-projects.
If you need less rights to sub-projects, you just have to affect to these projects with other profile.
Thanks, but not sure to understand well your answer : if rights are inherited, I can't have less right on a subproject? I made some tests and it seems tat rights are exactly the same on sub-projects, whatever affected role is.
Thanks again.
Seems my tests were wrong. Rights on sub-project can be less than project. Sorry.
