Hi
As far as I know, planned work is calculated by Projeqtor.
For example : Mr X has to work 5 days on a task during 15 days between 05/11/2018 and 24/11/2018 based on the mode "don't start before validated date". Mr X is available 50% for the project and 100% by day for the task.
If I launch planning calculation, Projeqtor fixes date of work :

  • Monday, Tuesday : 1 day for the week between 05/11/2018 and 09/11/2018
  • Wednesday : 0,5 day for the week between 05/11/2018 and 09/11/2018
  • Monday, Tuesday : 1 day for the week between 12/11/2018 and 16/11/2018
  • Wednesday : 0,5 day for the week between 12/11/2018 and 16/11/2018

I'm fine with that. It's OK.

BUT If I want to fix planned date my self. For example :

  • Monday 05/11/2018 : 0,75 day
  • Wednesday 07/11/2018 : 1 day
  • Thursday 08/11/2018 : 1 day
  • Friday 09/11/2018 : 0,5 day
  • Monday 12/11/2018 : 0,5 day
  • Thusday 15/11/2018 : 0,75 day
  • Monday 19/11/2018 : 0,5 day

Is there a way to do that ? If Yes, tell me how.

More difficult : If I want to fix some planned date my self and let Projeqtor calculates the other dates. For example :

  • Wednesday 07/11/2018 : 1 day
  • Monday 12/11/2018 : 0,5 day
  • Monday 19/11/2018 : 0,5 day
  • Projeqtor calculates the 3 left days

Is there a way to do that ? If Yes, tell me how

N.B. : I tried to use a meeting to fix date (meeting duration = 1 day) and I linked meeting to the task but Projeqtor ignores time spent in meeting and doesn't decrease left work on task. Therefore, Projeqtor plans 5 days instead 4 days (5 days planned - 1 day in meeting)

Regards

hello,
The only solution is to input real work in advance as expected.
Meetings are work.
Assignement on meeting adds work and never decrease the activity.

Regards.
