Hello,
I'm preparing a workflow for our activities and I was wondering if there is a possibility to link the change of the status of a given activity to the one of a linked activity.
I'm explaining myself a bit more in details:
We have two tighly linked activities - I'm working in the electronic industry and one of the activity is to do the design (schematic) and its layout.
The layout cannot start before part of the schematic is done - even if not newcessarily all, and the schematic cannot be considered as finalized if a feed-back from the layout is not done.
So I would like to know if the following is possible:
- Forbid to set the on-going on the layout before a given status on the linked schematic is reached
- Close the layout activity at the same moment the schematic is closed
Ideally it would be also dependent of the type of activity ![]()
Of course we can enforce the rule on the process, but enforcing on the tool is always easier to make it work ![]()
Thanks
Hi,
No this is not possible
OK, understood.
We will put this requirement on the process itself.
Thank you for your swift answer.
