[#7289]

Hello,

I come to the problem of template projects. How to configure them?

I created a project:
type: template
start / end date: none
status: saved
fix planning [enable] do not include in planning calculation
non extendable project forbid to a [enable] dd or remove items in planning
under construction [enable] the project is not started yet
exclude from global plan [enable] do not see all items on the global planning view
All common tasks are saved.
Duplication works well.

I have created filters to hide it from my projects. but it is still in the reports if I report on all projects.

What are the ideal settings for a project type?
Do you have to close a template project?

Thank you

You cannot (and should not) hide templates from planning view : it's interesting to see what the template you want to copy looks like.
You can possible put all your templates under same parent "Templates"
Then just collpase this parent to not see the templates...
Or you can put your operational projects under another "branch" (parent project) and select this project in selector to hide templates

Thank you for the answer.
In the projects or tasks view, there are filters.
I made one: Active projects = no type template or closed. it works.
I still think that there is a lack of filtering in the reports.
We should also be able to filter. In a report on all projects, the model also appears.
Anyway I haven't found a way to exclude it from a report on all projects.
Maybe I don't see where!
Thank you
