Why is the "Due dates -> initial date" not "read only"?

Working on the ticket Due dates, since the user can change the "planned date" and the "initial date" is automatically provided, why the user can also modify the "initial date"?

I don't get the point, and, since initial date are linked to SLA's (in my case) I would not prefer to see it moving during the time the ticket is open.

It is a good point of view.
But due date must be set at least once ... so cannot always be readonly.
And it you enter wrong value at first input, then you should be able to correct it.

But I aggree that is due date is calculated from ticket delay, it should then be readonly.
This is registered as Ticket #2865 and should be developped with ticket #1547 (Define delay for tickets per project)
