since Microsoft will turn off sending mails using smtp with basic auth soon I would like to ask, if it will be possible to use other ways to send mail in within PorjeQtOr in near future?

We were not aware with this (not concerned)
I recorded ticket, but sure we won't be ready for end of Basic Auth SMTP in april 2026.
Note that this concerns only smtp.office365.com.
As usual, Microsoft does only what he wants, and wished to force to use his own authent system oAuth2
Maybe we'll upgrade.
So best option is to use smtp relay or another mailbox to send emails.
Note that this only concerns sending emails, with SMTP, users with office365 adresses will always receive emails.
If the tenant exists already, the service is maintained until mid 2027.
