Hello,
Actually, we're just able to link expense to project, so, it's not possible to plan your expenses.
ie : i want to use planning calculation to plan lots of projects (almost 75 projects and 400 activities for 60 project leaders). I need to plan it with several constraints :
- Ressources capacities (easy through ressources assignments)
- financial capacities (harder because expenses are linked to project, not activities, project cost isn't the best level - so some projects could be planned on several years..., activities costs are not summed by project but only a "cost limit" for an activity).
So, is it possible to make one of the following (or a better idea ?) :
- Link expenses to activities (so, when activity is planned, expense is automaticaly planned for the strat date of activity)
- Consolidate activities cost in project, so validated cost for all the activities are summed in validated cost for the project.
Then, we are able to plan project budget through activities.
I expect to be clear, so it's hollyday's return....
Regards,
JM

This is possible, nut would be a new Enpense type (Activity Expense).
Consolidate activities cost in project, so validated cost for all the activities are summed in validated cost for the project.
Already exists on V4.4 :woohoo:

Validated costs for activities aren't summed in project, or i can't see clearly (but, this is sometime a normal behavior for me 😉 ).
In test.projeqtor.org, I try to do want i say : in project SIVA-OSIRIS (Id 23), there are two activites (Id 23 and 51), one for a validated cost of 30 000 €, the other for a validated cost of 200 000 €, so, the project as a validated cost of 0 € instead of 230 000 €.
I think my explanations are not always so clear as i think they are... 🙁 mostly in english :cheer:
Ragards,

It is because it need to be parametered in Global Parameter Screen (consolidation is by default set to no to preserve existing behavior)
I updated config in test instance and just upsdated one activity : project is now up to date.
Amazing !!!
I'm thinking that PROJEQTOR was a great product and i'm discovering that it's even better than i think !
So great work, again ! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks !
(and, also, i'm going to RTFM !)
