Hello
We are in 8.1.5 for 2 month now.
Performance are worth and worth. It seems ProjeQtOr is using a large amount of the memory of the server.
The worth is Imputation. It can take more than 1' to save the week.
Do you have an explanation ? Do we have a local problem or is it an issue you already aware ?

Performance are worth and worth. It seems ProjeQtOr is using a large amount of the memory of the server.
What di you call large amount ?
It may use 100% on 1GB, sure...
What is important it to dimension the server correspondong to usage : CPU, RAM, disks, ... and not only monitored "one shot" but followed to identify hights values.
The worth is Imputation. It can take more than 1' to save the week.
Timesheet is one of the "heavyest" screen to manage.
IT has be improved over time, and it will now be difficult to improve it without a complete refactor.
Performance will depend on number of lines to display.
Less than 20 is quick and fluent.
Up to 100 is slower but still easy to use.
Over 100 lines, performance may be bad : but is it really a good design to work on hundreds of activities in parallel.
Possibly you may close finished activities, and use options to hide ununsed line (not started on finished)
Probably between 20 et 100 but to me it's normal. When you create a project, you can have more than 20 task open but not started. Or else it means you don't affect a ressource to a task till it start, but I can't manage project this way. My aim is that when you start a project, all the task are created and affected.
It seems the problem appears recently. Whereas we don't have more project than before.
I will ask to our SI for the technical data.
What do this graph show ?
Max value for each day ? => OK, no issue
Average value for each day ? => servers are heavily over loaded.
Yes, that's our problem. The server is overloaded by ProjeQtOr, whereas there is few user (7, and never at the same time). And we see the load increase till we reboot.
Is there a process we should desactivate or kill ?
It wasn't the case before we upgrade from 7.1 to 8.1.
First, be sure that you don't have several CRON processes running.
We discovered it is possible to have several running in parallel.
This has been fixed on V8.2 to avoid dupplicate CRONs
You can user server-status on server to check PHP processes.
we updated. we'll check. Thanks !
