I would like to change the daily rate of a resource within one project and activity, to account for pay rise during projects that sometimes have a lifespan of more than 2 years. My version of Projeqtor allows only for 1 daily rate per resource per activity, and it is locked for the remainder of the project duration. How can I find a way around this ? Thank you
A resource can have cost than change during tilme.
In the resourece screen, enter value for same role / function, you'll have to enter start date for the new resource cost.
The costs will automatically be updates :
- real cost = real work * cost at the corresponding date (calculated day by day)
- left cost = real work * new cost
- Assigned cost = assogned work * cost at date of assignment creation
Note that if you want to update a cost only for a given project you can define a cost for the resource for a new role / function, then change role / function on the assignments for this project. This last update can be done through Multiple update on screen Assignement (available on V12 but not in your current instance version)
