Hello,
in demo, i use compare value for filter project expense where real value > planned value (bad estimation).
The project expense #2 in demo is 5 000 € palnned and 5 234 € real.
Here is the result without filter :
When setting the filter :
I get this result :
That is not expected one.
I got the same issue on my proper instance.

Hello,
On your last screenshot, there is no check mark proving that the filter has been applied. But there is indeed a problem with errors in the logs.
