Hello,
Some may ask how to remove or edit the "welcome message" from within the app.
You need to user phpMyAdmin et go to the "message" table. The "idProject" field is not set : just type the value "1" and save.
And that's it.
Or just go to Tools > Message, and delete or close message 😉
I am sorry, but the way you express does NOT work: the idProject is missing and you don't even see the "default welcome message".
You don't need to go in PHPMyAdmin for edit or delete the welcome message .
You can do this in application in Tools > Message .
I understood that, and you are right it works, except for your first default welcome message that DO NOT HAVE an IdProject.
When you install projeQtor 6.2.5, the first message, provided during the installation DOES NOT show when you go to Tools->Message.
We can add others messages, edit or remove them, but without accessing the DB you CANNOT remove the "first-and-by-default" message.
=> that is just an small issue, and that was easy to fix but, as for now, we NEED to go directly in the DB.
Kitcat (not screaming but felt that he was not understood 🙂
To see this "default" message, you should have no preojet selected in the project selector.
Otherwise, list is restricted to items dedicated to this project, and as you pointed out, this message is not linked to a project (tagets to all users whatever the project)
